Liferay 7.1: How to add support for Oracle DB

In March 2016 I published the article Liferay 7 CE: How to add support for Oracle DB which showed how to add support for Oracle Database to Liferay 7 Community Edition, then in May 2017 I published the solution: Database All In One Support for Liferay 7 Community Edition. Among other things, the latter solution was also published on the Maven repository (version 1.0.0).

With the release of Liferay 7.1 GA1, I am starting to port the various open source projects I have developed over time to this new version of Liferay. One of these projects is Liferay Database All In One Support whose version 1.1.0 (released a few days ago) is compatible with Liferay 7.1.

The installation procedure is always valid as indicated in the article Liferay 7 CE: How to add support for Oracle DB and in the README file of the project published on GitHub.

I can recommend the following resources on my Antonio Musarra’s Blog YouTube channel concerning the topic:

Soon I will also update the YouTube channel with the new content that fits these topics. You will make me happy if you decide to send me a feedback or to share this article on your social channels.
