The system in the middle, was <a class=\"zem_slink broken_link\" title=\"Mule (software)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mulesoft.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Mule ESB<\/a>, the mediator between the two systems. The first of the two systems published a series of messages on a JMS queue, these messages were consumed by ESB Mule and after a series of elaborations shipped to the second system (Liferay).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At that time, Liferay had just SOAP services (services rest, would come later), based on the old framework Apache Axis 1.4 and style rpc \/ encoded. The SOAP component of Mule ESB based on <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Apache CXF\" href=\"http:\/\/cxf.apache.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Apache CXF<\/a> is not compatible with the model rpc \/ encoded.\u00a0The first solution was to create the client (to be done later use in Mule ESB) for services of Liferay, starting from the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Web Services Description Language\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Web_Services_Description_Language\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">WSDL<\/a> of the service with which it was necessary to communicate, many of you will know how boring it can be this activity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Liferay someone to \"good heart\" had decided to make available the Liferay Portal Client, this has made the happiness of myself first and foremost and secundis halved the time development of the flow of Mule ESB. Later I realized that the Liferay Portal Client is known by a handful of insiders around, even Liferay itself does not mention the existence in their own documentation SOAP <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Web service\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Web_service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">Web Services<\/a>, is usually discussed the process of creating the client via the WSDL.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last week I found myself in a similar situation where the Liferay Portal Client has been useful in an integration, by halving the time of development. I made the decision to publish on my <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"GitHub\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">GitHub<\/a> repository a complete example of use of the Liferay Portal Client. The sample project <a title=\"Liferay Portal Client Example\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/amusarra\/liferay-portal-client-example\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">liferay-portal-client-example<\/a>, based on Maven that performs the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs login on Liferay;<\/li>\n<li>Retrieves the CompanyID based on the virtualhost;<\/li>\n<li>Retrieve <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"User identifier\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/User_identifier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">UserId<\/a> of the user to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"User (computing)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/User_%28computing%29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">ScreenName<\/a> and CompanyID;<\/li>\n<li>Retrieves the GroupId of the site Guest;<\/li>\n<li>Performs the upload of a document on the Document Library site Guest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following an extract of the logs that show the execution of the main class UploadDocumentOnDL.
